Super Mario Bros – World 3-4
Firebars, and more of them than before. 3-4 puts several in the same corridor, some rotating clockwise and some the other way, so the safe rhythm you learned in 1-4 does not carry over. Treat each bar on its own: stop, watch, go.
The corridor also narrows to a single block of floor in places. Small Mario has an easier time here, which is one of the few levels where losing the mushroom is not entirely bad news.
Buzzy Beetle plays the part of Bowser this time, which matters if you are Fire Mario: fireballs still count, five of them ending the fight with a bonus. Otherwise wait for the jump, run under, take the axe.
