Super Mario Bros – World 8-3

Castle walls in the background, Hammer Brothers in the foreground. 8-3 is an overworld stage with several pairs of Hammer Brothers standing on brick ledges, plus Bullet Bill cannons in between, and a 300-second timer.

A Fire Flower is the difference between a hard level and a routine one. With fire, shoot the brothers from a distance before their hammers reach you. Without it, watch the arc: hammers go up and come down, and the moment both brothers have just thrown is the moment to run under.

The ground is flat and there are almost no pits, so falling is not the risk here. Contact is. Take it in sections, one pair at a time.
